Pav bhaji | Pav Bhaji recipe in english step by step
Today we will learn about great fast food dish of Pav bhaji recipe. Pav bhaji is a fast food dish from India consisting of a thick vegetable curry (bhaji) served with a soft bread roll (pav). Place of origin - India.
Ingredients list :
- 2 tablespoon olive Oil ( you can use any vegetable oil)
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 Big Chopped Onion
- 1 green chilli
- 1 inch Ginger
- Garlic Cloves ( 10 - 12 )
- 1 chopped capsicum
- 3 big tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 Pinch Turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoon Pav bhaji Masala
- 1 carrot
- 15 Beans
- Cauliflower 10-12 pieces
- 1/2 Cup green Peas
- 2 Potatoes
- 1/2 grated beetroot
Pav Bhaji recipe :
- Heat 2 tablespoon oil and 2 tablespoon butter in a cooker (The test will be very good with butter.)
- Now add 1 big chopped onions and fry well for 2 minutes.
- Grind 10-12 garlic cloves , 1 green chilli and 1 inch ginger in a grinder And add this paste to the cooker and fry it well for 1 minute.
- Now Add 1 chopped capsicum and fry for 2 minutes.
- Then add 3 chopped tomatoes and mix well
- Now, add salt as per taste
- Then add 1 tablespoon red chilli, 2 pinch turmeric powder, and add 1/4 cup water then fry for 2 minutes - medium to high flame.
- Mix 2 tablespoon pav bhaji masala, 1 chopped carrot, 10-12 pieces cauliflower, 15 beans, 1/2 cup green peas, 2 chopped potatoes, 1/2 grated beetroot and fry for two minutes.
- Pour 2 cups of water and let the cooker cook for 8 whistles.
- now slurry it. This slurry is called Bhaji.
- Now put 1 tablespoon butter in this slurry mixture and cook for 5 to 7 minutes
- Put butter, pav bhaji masala, coriander on a hot griddle and roast the pav in it.
